A very big thank you to Captain Murdoch, who kindly agreed to let us use HMS RALEIGH’s facilities in order to host the event as the HQ.  To all those Phase 2 Rcts and PT Staff who helped to marshal and ‘Push Off.’ To the Timekeepers Mark Gorman and Mike Brewer; great ambassadors as ever.  To Stuart Edwards, not only did he ride but he managed to arrange some excellent refreshments and to Andy Davey, who with a bit of guidance organised his first ever Cycling event, well done that man.  Finally a big thank you to our Main Sponsor for this event; Carol Wilcox of Juice Plus+ who personally contributed £200.00 towards our prize list, which we were very grateful for.  If you are serious about your health and your Cycling, then this is a product that you may want to consider in the future.

Our Next Open Event
This will take place on Tue 29 Jun 10, commencing at 1900 on the same course, same distance and same HQ as today’s event.  Although it notes in the CTT Handbook that it will be 35 Miles, authorisation has been approved for us to reduce to 16 Miles.  The Event Secretary will be Garry Drew and cheques should be made payable to the RNRMCA for £7.00.  We are again hoping to attract a field of approximately 80 riders with another good prize list so please spread the word.  All standards more than welcome.
