RNRMCA 7th Annual Road Race Championships 2010 - Result
1. The above championships took place at RNAS Merryfield, ILTON, Somerset, on Fri 30 Apr 10. The event consisted of two separate races; the first being the ‘Sprint’ aimed at novices or beginners consisting of 40 minutes + 2 laps (approximately 24 miles). The second race was the ‘Open’ which was aimed at those more experienced athletes who compete on a regular basis. They covered 60 minutes + 2 laps (approximately 32 miles).
RESULTS
2. The standard of competition throughout both races was very high and extremely competitive, making it a very exciting and unpredictable, especially as it attracted various guest riders from the Army and the RAF. The RAF also included their own championships within the event. Results were as follows:
