RNRMCA Riders doing what comes naturally in support of charityChildren in Need appeal inspires riders to raise cash tackling ride from Fleet HQ to Brighton and back.
A team of twelve Royal Navy cyclists departed the Navy Command Headquarters on 5 Nov for a 100 mile charity cycle ride to Brighton and back in aid of Children in Need.
Ride organiser Lt Cdr Jon Pollard said: “We could not have hoped for a better day this time of year, dry and with no wind”. After spending 6½ hours in the saddle, all twelve riders arrived back safely at the Headquarters late afternoon, a little tired but nonetheless satisfied with their sterling efforts in aid of a worthy cause.
