How to Join

  With the aim of promoting all aspects of cycling within the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the RNRMCA strives to keep things uncomplicated. Currently there are 2 types of membership you can apply for dependant on your status.

Membership Types

Full Membership – Open to all serving ranks of the Naval Service, this includes Reservists, RFA and the Band Service.
Club Membership – Open to ex-serving members of the Naval Service, MOD employees and civilians.

Membership Entitlements

·         Full Members will be entitled to the following:

·         Refund of entry fees for approved Inter Service Races

·         Club Clothing at cost including VAT and P&P

·         Able to enter CTT events as an RNRMCA member

·         Able to enter BC races as an RNRMCA member (licence required)

·         Able to ride AUDAX UK events

·         Refund of travel expenses to approved races (subject to local budget holders discretion)

·         Able to attend annual overseas/home training camp

·         Able to vote on proposals at the Associations AGM

Club Members will be entitled to the following:

·         Club clothing at cost including VAT and P&P

·         Able to enter CTT events as an RNRMCA member

·         Able to enter BC races as an RNRMCA member (licence required)

·         Able to ride AUDAX UK events

·         Able to attend annual overseas/home training camp at their own expense.

·         Able to compete in designated Naval Service championships

Membership Fees

·         One year membership at a fee of £15.00 (No jersey)

·         Three years membership at a fee of £40.00 (this option also includes a free short sleeve RNRMCA jersey)

Both options will run consecutively from the initial date of joining.  The Membership Secretary will maintain a database of members informing them when their membership is due for renewal (assuming members maintain their contact details).

Life Membership

Life Membership is given to those members who have been recognized by the Association for providing outstanding service, usually over a number of years.

BC Application Process

Details given are important particularly an accurate postal address as this is where your jersey will be sent for those taking the 3-year option. Also a valid email account will ensure you stay up to date with what’s happening in the RNRMCA.  Don’t forget if you get a new email account to update your details held with British Cycling.
